Ever since the label of “seniors” was given to people 65 and older, there has been a hunt to find another label for those, like myself, who are called baby boomers (people born between 1946-1964). As it is our nature to rebel; we don’t appear to feel that any label would apply to all of us. Personally, no label, including “Encore Generation” seems to fit. We are living longer; many will, by choice, work past what was perceived as the retirement age. In the free time we have, we all have a different picture of what we want it to be. So Encore People, let’s do what we have all done so well for so long, let’s rebel, let’s invent a new paradigm shift!
